Organic certification opens doors to international markets, but it also brings practical challenges.
How do small-scale farmers keep records? How do they document field activities and input use? How do they adapt to changing EU requirements?
In our experience, certification works best when supported by simple tools such as logbooks, field records, and regular local follow-up.
The goal is to make compliance practical and useful, not just an administrative task. Together with Highlands Organic and TOAM, we are continuously working to improve and simplify these systems so they function well for farmers.
